Couple of bags headed out East

For a friend and her daughter. The mini messenger bag is a modified version of the Diana bag from Burda Style

and the wristlet was just something I put together.

Custom stamps...

I needed a break from all my Christmas crafting projects (which are just about done!) and worked on a few custom requests for stamps.

Gobs of pouches for STS

The STS swap is sooooo addicting! It was easy to whip these up, given that I have a huge stash of zippers and fabrics *wry*

And as a a custom request, another birdie pouch!

Pair of Pincushions...

For a swap. Of course :)

One with a magnet to attach to the sewing machine or pick-up stray pins...

And a larger one to accomodate all those quilting pins!

I hope my partner likes them *anxious*

Note: Pictures courtesy of my lovely swap partner, since I was a dork and forgot to take any before I mailed out my swap package...

Backgrounds for Inchies...

Inchies have been on my mind for ages, and this is my first attempt! I decided to keep things simple and work on some pieces that will serve as a background for other add-ons. This particular batch is headed for Michigan, but there will be more in the works because it was really cathartic to paint and collage :)

It brings out the imp in me...

And it gives me a good excuse to stock up (and consume) candy!

Stamps for STS...

Quick recap of some recent stamps I've carved...

Test Swatch

Let's see. I am crazy about fabrics AND I have been carving stamps. It's only a matter of time before I combine those two crafting interests. Voila! My very first piece of stamped fabric. Now, I need to decide on what to make with it!!

Patchwork Purse...

Theirs.

My version. With a few modifications. Of course.
