Using this tutorial! It's an awesome way to use up all the scraps of fabric that I've been hoarding (ya know, the ones that look too darn cute to toss). Surprisingly, piecing together all the little squares wasn't quite as tedious as I thought it would be. I think I will be making more of these soon!!

Made for SC, for the geeky themed OTT swap. It's a chubby little thing, measuring approximately 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.25 inches. The cover is an aqua-hued fabric, and I embroidered the octopus based on her selected themes of oceanography and octopus. I hope she likes it!

I was in dire need of a healing moisturizer for my hands. After some searching online, I figured a concoction that was rich in shea butter and coconut oil would be a winner. Many recipes called for aloe vera or some liquid component, but I decided to stick with the basics. Voila! My first batch of healing cream (8/50), generously scented with lavender essential oil and a hint of peppermint essential oil.
